a) Credit unions are owned by its members. b) Credit unions usually pay higher rates on savings and charge lower rates on loans. c) Credit unions charge lower fees than other financial institutions.
3) Are there any costs associated with joining?
None. There are no annual membership fees.
4) What happens if I leave my job? The credit union philosophy is "Once a member, always a member". You are NOT required to cancel your membership. In fact we urge all members who do change jobs to inform their new employer of credit union services.
5) Can family members join? YES. Membership is not limited to only employees of our sponsor companies. The entire family can enjoy the benefits of credit union services.
